Get ready, fashion fanatics! The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has just dropped the preliminary schedule for the Official New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in February 2026, and it's shaping up to be a must-see event.
Kicking off the American Collections on February 11th at noon is Rachel Scott's debut for Proenza Schouler. The week will conclude on February 16th at 5 p.m. with a yet-to-be-announced designer. The schedule boasts over 60 runway shows and designer presentations, with additional collections showcased digitally and by appointment.
The lineup is packed with familiar names and exciting newcomers. Returning designers include Altuzarra, Area, Calvin Klein Collection, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Coach, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, and many more.
But here's where it gets exciting! Public School, led by Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow, and Derek Lam, with Robert Rodriguez as creative director, are also making a comeback.
And this is the part most people miss: First-time additions to the NYFW roster include Seven For All Mankind, Ossou, Alix of Bohemia, and several others, promising fresh perspectives and innovative designs.
Ralph Lauren will present their fall 2026 collection on February 10th, a day before the official start, setting the stage for the week's fashion frenzy.
As part of N4XT Experiences’ NYFW Collections, several designers will present in free/no-fee venues, including Area, Kallmeyer, Sergio Hudson, Altuzarra, Fforme, Public School, and Zankov.
Evening shows will be a highlight, with Tory Burch on February 11th at 7 p.m., Michael Kors on February 12th at 6 p.m., Sergio Hudson on February 13th at 7 p.m., Khaite on February 14th at 7 p.m., and LaQuan Smith on February 14th at 9 p.m. Bibhu Mohapatra will present on February 15th at 7 p.m., and Kim Shui will show at 8 p.m. The final slot on February 16th at 5 p.m. is still a mystery.
Established in 2022, the CFDA NYFW Fund has supported over 50 international retailers, editors, and media stakeholders across eight seasons, helping to amplify American collections globally. The CFDA NYFW Shuttle, presented by Google Shopping, will continue to provide logistical support and reduce the week's carbon footprint.
"American fashion represents singular visions meeting collection purpose — from debuts to homecomings to changing of guards, the autumn-winter 2026 lineup presents a week that speaks to resilience and a focus on the future,” said Joseph Maglieri, CFDA’s director of fashion week initiatives.
New York Men’s Day will take place on February 11th, featuring collections from designers like A. Potts, Avon Anglers, Chelsea Grays, and others.
